Soya Paranthas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup soya flour
  • 1 tsp grated garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup boiled & mashed green peas
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds & ginger-green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp chilli powder & coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder & dried mango powder
  • 1 tsp Soya oil
  • A pinch of turmeric powder

How to Prepare

Combine wheat flour, soya flour, garlic, and salt to make dough. Divide into 6 equal portions.

For the filling, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Allow them to crackle, then add mashed green peas and remaining spices. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Roll out one portion of the dough into a circle. Place one portion of the filling in the center.

Bring together all sides in the center and seal tightly. Roll out again into a circle.

Cook the paratha using a little oil until both sides are golden brown. Repeat with remaining dough. Serve hot.
