What is amipro®?

amipro® is a source of rumen bypass protein, produced from high protein soybean meal, used as a feed supplement for ruminants. It provides a high level of rumen undegradable, yet highly digestible protein to support today’s higher milk and beef production.

Why Choose amipro®?

  • High Protein Value: 76% UDP (% of CP at 6% outflow)
  • High Digestibility: 93%
  • Proven Results: EU trials show improved milk yield compared to regular soybean meal
  • Supports the protein requirements of animals with good breeding genetics
  • Aids in formulating rations for improved milk production, growth rate, and cost reduction

How amipro® Works

Soybean meal is a high-value vegetable protein source for all livestock. However, during digestion, a significant proportion of this protein is degraded in the rumen, too early for high-yielding dairy cows and growing animals to fully utilize. amipro® bypass protein protects the protein in the rumen and allows it to be fully digested within the small intestine, resulting in:

  • Better utilization of essential amino acids
  • Improved milk production
  • Enhanced growth
